Exploring American Daydream Antiques

We finally had a chance to stop in and explore American Daydream Antiques & Miscellanea located at 3790 E Market St, York, PA.

American Daydream Antiques

The barn that houses the shop has been lovingly restored. We chatted with the owner and she said they worked on it for a year before they were ready to open. They’ve done a wonderful job! You can read about the farm and barn history on their website.

The barn has 2 floors to explore. The vendor booths offer everything from antiques, to Star Wars toys, vintage clothing, and housewares to albums and action figures.

The vendors do a really nice job arranging their booths and merchandise. There is a lot to to see and shop for here. This is a smaller size group shop but perfect if you don’t have a lot of time to shop or feel overwhelmed by the very large antique type malls.

I really enjoyed the retro and vintage toys for sale. The massive vintage vinyl section had a wide variety of albums.

Clearly, they have a fun, funky side here. I loved this phone that was so expertly up-cycled into a lamp by Upcycled Tinkerings & Vintage.

Looking for that favorite thermos or action figure you had as a kid? Stop in at American Daydream cause they probably have it. We really enjoyed stopping in here on our way to shop the antique malls in Columbia and will definitely stop by again when we’re in the York, PA area.
